A student at The Hartt School, he studies trumpet with Phil Snedecor, bringing a story-driven approach to his playing that resonates deeply with listeners.

Michael believes every student deserves to be seen and heard. As President of his National Association for Music Education (NAfME) chapter at The Hartt School and Collegiate Student Co-Chair for the Connecticut Music Educators Association (CMEA), Michael has expanded professional development opportunities for future educators by bringing in internationally acclaimed speakers. He is an active advocate for the arts.
